Background: Born on the terraformed planet of Caldos IV, Jeph was always
the mischievous one. He knew what he believed in, and would fight for
it. When he was 18, his father was killed, and his mother could no
longer care for the family farm, so they had to leave the planet and
move to Rigel VI. Jeph being the "new guy" got into a lot of fights,
and was forced to fight back. One night while walking home from a bar
on the wrong side of town, he was caught in a horrific explosion that
left him in pieces and clinging to the threads of life. He was found in
the morning and rushed to the Med unit. There Federation Doctors and
Scientist brought him back from the clutches of death. With the
operation a success, and "nothing more we can do" the doctors left.
Jeph was dismayed to find that he had lost the use of his arms, his
right leg, 1 of his lungs, and his heart. They told him that he had
literally died on the operating table. Refusing to live life confined to
a chair, Jeph sought out the help of Doctor Rachel Osborne. She was the
leading doctor on cybernetics and luckily she was vacationing on the
planet. She agreed to help Jeph and using experimental cybernetic
implants, she gave Jeph a second lung, a new heart, 2 bionic arms, and a
bionic leg. To process these new body parts, his brain had to be fitted
- or expanded - to handle the extra stress. He was given a partial
cybernetic mainframe that helps him operate the bionic implants, and
also gives him extra strength, extra speed, and a "healing factor" of
sorts. His immune system is very strong and can heal from most wounds
within a day. Although he has all these "added benefits" he still
appears human. As a side effect to this new equipment, Jeph ages quite
differently than most Humans. He ages 1 year for every 5 years he lives.
New Data: In 2373 while serving aboard the USS LaGrange, Jeph came in
contact from Borg nanites released - accidentally - from Jeremy. The
Borg nanites worked to assimilate him, but for some unknown reason, he
was not assimilated, but transformed. Jeph is now classified as a
Technoshifter. Much like a shapeshifter, but his abilities came about
through technology.
Personality profile:
Jeph LOVES to meet new people, but is a very loyal friend. He will do anything
for his friends. Jeph loves to play games, but does not let it
interfere with his work. He loves to meet new people, and is a loyal,
giving friend.

Jeph is a big kid. While on & off duty he is very fast, acurate, and accountable.
