Background:Gen's story is only known by her word, but this is what she has told the crew of the USS LaGrange: K'Tanna is not sure exactly where on Vulcan she was born, but her parents were T'Lin and Kel N'Aan, fanatic Symmetrists. K'Tanna was born "slightly different" and because of that she was abandoned by her parents when she was seven on a hostile, non-Federation planet. She spent her time there stealing and avoiding the marauding rape gangs. When she was ten she stowed away on a departing ship on which she was discovered and sold to some idiotic Ferengis. From Ferengi she hid on a merchant ship in some boxes that ended up on Earth. There she made a friend, a human girl named Genevieve Wilson who helped her get to the right place to do some family research. K'Tanna bacame very close with this girl. AFter they parted, K'Tanna looked seriously into her roots with more revenge in mind than geneology. She found out who her parents were, and that they had been in a terrorist attack in which they both died, but only after killing 26 people. So disgraced by her name was K'Tanna that she took her best and only friend's name, Genevieve Wilson. After her research on her roots, she found out that she was related to Spock, son of Sarek of Vulcan, one of the original Symmetrists. She did a few people some favours, and found out about a classified mission to see Spock being carried out by a ship called the USS LaGrange. Gen contacted her friend, Gen, because her father was a high ranking Federation officer. Gen's dad got Gen/K'Tanna aboard the cargo ship USS Katie Dunigan headed for Drydock, where the LaGrange was moored. When there, Gen hid in a secluded part of sickbay the night before launch. She was discovered in the first part of the mission by Doctor Affity, CMO aboard the ship. She told Celeste her stpry, and after a while they became friends. She also met up with The youngest crew member, Lieutenant Jeph Fairchild, and the seeds of romance were planted. She is now an acting ensign, a student under Dr. Affity, who aspires to become a great pediatrician in the future, after attending the Academy.

Personality profile:
Gen is a Vulcan, of course, but she displays her emotions. Because she was never trained in the control of the Vulcan race, she has the signature Vulcan telepathy, but has a very full range of emotions. She has a good sense of humour, and strong common sense. Her story is unfortunate because she was forced to learn her lessons the hard way, by living on her own on hostile worlds with hostile people. She is very intelligent, and able to learn new things quickly. She is resourceful, and has often contributed to Dr. Affity by using unconventional means to solve a problem when nothing else works. She is delightful to be around, but somehow, I wouldn't recommend you get on her bad side. It is also very hard to earn her trust.
Special notes:
Due to Gen's background, she probably has more up her sleeve than she lets on to.
