Dr. Affity entered her quarters. Surprisingly, Genevieve was there. Waiting. Affity smiled at her.

"Guess what? Today is my first away mission on board the LaGrange. Down to Romulus. But guess who I get to go down there with?"

"An away mission, oh, right, I think I knew about that. But you need to let me come with you."

"First of all, Selek is coming, and secondly, NO. Sorry, you can not come down there with me. It is too dangerous and the captain would absolutely FRY me. Things are going too well for me right now to get court marshalled because of you. Sorry, but no."

Dr. Affity rolled her eyes. Why on earth... she didn't even know about meeting anyone. This was all starting to get very confusing.... she reached at her pendant and grasped it. Now, I need to be in the transporter room in 20 minutes, so if you would please step aside and let me get ready." Gen mumbled something in Ferengi and then left the room. Dr. Affity grabbed her blue lab coat and a medkit and dashed from the room into the hallway. On the way she bumped into Selek who was also on his way to the tansporters. "It is most logical to watch where you are going, doctor." Selek said in his most aristocratic tone.

"I bet. But it's also logical to watch where YOU'RE going and not race up and down the hals like a Geforian racing cattle."

"Doctor, it is most important that you remain as close to civilized as possible on this away mission." Selek straightened his uniform and walked ahead of Celeste to the turbolift. He walked and and shut the doors on emergency close so she had to wait.

How gentlemanly, thought Celeste. We haven'teven left the ship and we are already fighting. But at that moment the turbolift doors opened and she didn't think of anything else except drawing strength from her pendant until she got to the transporter room. Selek was waiting for her there.
