"Finally, you're awake. I was worried for a minute, I try not to overdo the pendant. And I didn't want to have anyone die. Do you remember where Genevieve is?"
But before Affity continued, Jeph said, "Computer? Who said that? Stop hiding! I have to see you---"
"---Quiet! Those creatures are right outside our door and about to break it in. I think that Sickbay is the only place they haven't gained control of yet. You can't see me because I'm invisible, but it's me, Celeste. Sh. They won't be able to open those doors, trust me, but it's better that they think no one is left alive. Right now they think the doors were simply damaged while they fired on us, but if you conitnue to shout, that will quickly change. Now. WHERE IS GENEVIEVE?" Dr. Affity appeared at the edge of the sickbay bed where Jeph was lying. Jeph sat up. "I'm not sure, doctor! Last time I saw her she was on the Bridge, trying to contact you. Then I got hit with the phaser and it knocked me cold. I assume she's still there, but I have no idea!"
"Yes, you're lucky that phaser wasn't set any higher. I would have had to glue your peices back together. And plus, everything I do with the pendant has to go through the captain, and I don't know quite how I'm going to explain all this. But first, we have to get to the Bridge. I will make you irrelevant, if that's okay. Then we will go absolutely directly to the Bridge, find Gen, and return to Sickbay. Don't wory about them," the motioned to the door, "that door's not going anyplace." Jeph turned irrelevant and they made their way as fast as possible to the Bridge. As soon as they got there they split up and looked around for Geneveive. She was nowhere to be found. All of a sudden, Celeste recieved a telepathic message from Genevieve.
"I have gone to look for my cousin, Spock. It is imperative that I find him. I will find Ty N'Desp and she will lead me to him. So long, my friend."
"Dammit! She's down on the surface. I have no idea where she is. Following the Captain she said."
"But where's the captain?" Jeph looked at Affity. "Woah... calm down... we can go down to the--"
"SHUTUP!" Jeph cringed back. All of a sudden Dr. Affity's eyes shone purple and the pendant glowed brightly. She made a sudden lashing movement with her hand and instantly the creatures dissapeared. She stood there, breathing heavily, as though she was unable to believe what she had done. "Good grief. Smooth move, Affity. How could I have done that? Well, what's the point of being invisible now?" And they were both back to normal.
Jeph was still a little shocked. "Umm, this might not be a good time, but what did you do with them? I mean, where are they?"
"Suspended in a transwarp dimension. But don't worry, I'll bring them back for Ty to fight later. Now we have to find Genevieve. It is dangerous on the surface." Dr. Affity looked at Jeph and Jeph smiled.
"You're on, Doc."
