The captain and her security chief made through the Tal Shiar with no problem. The stolen I.D. cards assisted them and allowed them access. The captain lead the way as the caitian followed close behind.

After a few twists and turns, they finally came across a dead end in the monitoring room.

"There should be a hidden access panel around here. It leads to a secret pathway underground. See if you can find it."

Without hesitation Chandler began to search. He searched high and low until he found a small button. He pressed the button and an opening appeared in a corner. The captain hurried over.

"Tricorder shows nothing." Replied Chandler.

"Set all weapons for stun." Ordered the captain.

The emersed themselves in the cold darkness. Chandler had with him a light, since sealing off the hole left it pitch black. The captain took point and they duo were off. Chandler tried to keep focused on the matter at hand. It took some doing but he was able to accomplish that feat. No images of the dying dunsel, troubleshooting what was occuring onboard the LaGrange, or past memories entered his train of thought. All that he thought about was completing this mission.

After a few twists and turns, they were confronted by a cloaked individual.

"Jacob." It was the captain communicating telepathicly. "No matter what he says, you will reply,'Let logic be the judge,' understood?"

The caitian nodded. The cloaked individual turned to the both and spoke.

"Live long and prosper."

"Let logic be the judge," replied Ty and Jacob. The individual motioned to follow.

They continued for about half an hour. Finally they arrived at some sort of door. The individual removed his cloaked and there stood the face of a romulan. Ty prevented her security chief from drawing his phaser. They entered the doorway and were surrounded by a room full of cloaked romulans.

"Where is he?" Asked the captain.

"Why have you come?" asked a voice. Chandler turned to see who it was. out from the shadows stood the most historical figure Chandler had ever had a chance to see. It was Ambassador Spock.
