Blasted, thought Chandler to himself. Transporter rooms were the last place. He even tried to persuade the captain to take a shuttlecraft, however that was a waste of words.
"Energize" Ordered the captain.
Once on the planet, Dunsel pulled out his tricorder and began to scan for any unusual life readings. After finding nothing, the captain turned to her Chief of Security.
"This is a rescue mission. Only you and I will know the full parameters of what will happen down here. We are to rescue a very high ranking federation official. However, you will be informed on who that is later. Understood?"
Chandler nodded. He scratched at his face. The romulan disguise itched hard and he realy disliked wearing it. However for what ever reason it was nesseccary to travel incognito as locals.
The captain continued. "Once we reach our destination, you wil use this hidden transponder to alert Dr. Affity of our location and we will depart after her arrival. What was told of the other officers?"
"I sent a security report that they would take one romulan disrupter per team, in addition to their own personal Phasers and tricorders. Underneath my robe, I have brought along a phaser rifle in case of an emergency."
"Good. Let's continue."
They had traveled on for nearly an hour. No one saying a word. By that time they had reacheed their final destination. Jacob recognized where they were at. Outside of Tal Shiar Headquarters.
They were confronted by two of the Romulan guards.
"Identify yourself." asked the first guard.
Dunsel panicked and opened fire, but unfortunately missed. The second guard took up his disrupter and fired. Chandler jumped to push Dunsel out of the way, but the firearm still found its target. The captain wasted no time and fired back. Chandler lost control and his anger had surmounted. He attacked the first guard, who drew to fire upon the caitian. However he was a second too slow. Chandler delivered some excrusiating blows nearly killing the Romulan.
"That's enough commander," Ty comunicated telepathically. Chandler snapped out of his rage and turned and looked at the captain. He walked over to Dunsel. He didn't even have the chance to scream. The anger swelled with in the security officer. Though he did not know him well, it was a bad thing to have a member of your crew, your team, die. He touched his comm badge.
"Chandler to the LaGrange." No reply. Chandler tried again and recieved the same results. The captain the proceeded to try and came with the same conclusion.
"We'll worry about that later. Lets finish our mission. We will take the place of these guards. You will be Guard Pomak. I will be guard T'neal. Lets go Mister Chandler."
Chandler followed as they made their way through the gates of the Tal Shiar.
